Guest guest
Celia, no offense intended, but, some men do have the same problem. Being 6'5 " and at a size 56/58, on more than one occasion at the Tall and Big mans store, I had the same problem. They had fitted pants in the right waist, but they were too short. I needed a 32 or 34 length and most only went up to a 30. On the rare occasion they had the length, they didn't have the waist size. I even got into a very heated argument with the manager about this. I had a few choice words for their idea of Tall & Big. You had to be one or the other. He offered to " special order " the pants I wanted. I just didn't have the time for it. The only time I didn't have this problem was for dress pants and when I was looking for shorts. LOL. Some stores even invented a style called portly long, also known as executive portly. LOL Trying to make us feel better about ourselves. ***** >>>It's interesting what different experiences we all have. There's sure an amazing variation in body sizes! What really steams me is that men don't go through these problems as much, because *their* clothes come in a wider variety of sizes, like inseam lengths from 29 to 36 or something! Yet we women count ourselves lucky if we can find petite, average, and tall. Guest guest
My husband has this problem. I feel so bad for him! Jackets he can get, in the portly size. Pants never ever look right on him. He carries all of his weight in his belly, so he gets a 48 or 50 waist, but he he has no butt or legs to speak of. so he has the old man baggy look. I love him so much! Phyllis RE: Body awarness Celia, no offense intended, but, some men do have the same problem.
