Guest guest
Oh...do I remember the diet docs with the multicolored pills. Once a month. ..we'd pack the car with fatties and head to the diet doc. To tell the absolute truth, I was the only one that stuck to his diet to the letter, and the only one that never lost an ounce! The cheaters were praised to the sky ....I was told I must " eat like a horse " to have not lost on his plan...I do think there were amphetamines in the batch...cuz I sure felt energetic on the pills. It was always so disconcerting to get on that scale and not have lost. I remember white carbs...bread in particular was a real no no. We'd go to lunch..me with renewed hope that the next batch of different colored pills would be the magic combo...everyone would pig out...eat bread...but not me...I stuck it to the letter. They all lost....but not me. My body had really adapted to dieting.....hanging on to every last calorie and saving it...I'll never forget the tears of humiliation when I finally threw in the towel...and quit going. I felt it was ME that was the failure...but I realize now...it wasn't. Oh...the pain we endure...the humiliation.... Regards~ Jacque > His plan is very simple - > 1. Eat 3 meals a day, with protein as the main feature in each one. > 2. Exercise for 30 minutes a day, even it if its a leisurely walk. > 3. Don't eat white food (starches & carbs) after lunch. > > That's it! I don't know about the 3 meals -- in my case, at least a couple of times a day between those meals, I'd need a protein shake. The 30 minutes of walking certainly wouldn't hurt. And the no white food is wisdom to live by.
