Call your surgeon immediately. It could be any number of things and it could

be nothing at all, but severe abdominal pain with nausea is definitely

something to be concerned enough about to call your surgeon. I'm 20 months

postop

and I am out of the hospital only 6 weeks from my third bowel obstruction. I

was having severe abdominal pain on and off for about 4 or 5 weeks (usually

associated with eating) before I ended up in the ER - by that time, I was

seriously malnourished which is making my recovery so much more challenging.
