Reba GREEN TOMATO PICKLES 1 gallon small green tomatoes 6 medium onions 1 tablespoons salt (non iodized) 4 cups sugar (sub equal amounts of Splenda) 4 cups white vinegar 1 pint jalopena peppers 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper Slice & quarter the green tomatoes and set aside. Boil the vinegar, sugar (Splenda), onions, peppers, salt and red pepper. Add the tomatoes and cook until the first one turns color. Put into clean pint jars and seal.
