Guest guest
Barb, I'm hoping to get insurance approval for mine and I am only planning a lift. My PS agreed with me I don't really need implants. I personally would not do implants unless you are really small but then again I don't like the idea of foreign objects in my body. My point however is my PS had no problem with not doing implants and he does awesome work so I think if he thought it was necessary he would have said so! Guest guest
I originally planned on having implants when I had my breast lift. I've been large breasted since I was 13, even when I was thin. So, I figured it would be nice to be at least a C if not a D. Anyway, I decided not to get implants for a couple of reasons. One, when you get implants they do not last forever. In fact my surgeon told me it is a life-long commitment as they often need to be replaced after one or more years. Second, I did not want to get back to having saggy breasts. With or without implants, the bigger you are the more likely you are to sag. Third, even though the medical community refutes anecdotal evidence that implants cause health problems, I decided it was not worth the risk to take a chance. I have skin allergies to many substances and didn't want to the one person who had a bad reaction to the material used for implants. So, I now have size B breasts. Smaller than I had hoped but they are perky and do not sag! in Washington Lap RNY Sept 2001 Minus 205 pounds 333.5/128 http://www.wworw.com > Hi > I had my surgery in May 2002 and I am about 200 pounds down. Guest guest
Hello, mu name is and I had GBYRoux 1 year and 8 months ago. Now I am starting to search for plastic surgery. I lost 110lb so far and don't have a lot of skin to remove. I am kind of scared since I don't know how the scars will look like, never saw anyone or pictures of anyone that did plastic surgery to lift/remove skin. Is there any place we can check this out? I would appreciate it! , FL
