How would you describe perfect? Kinda like you'd want a peach? Firm, but

gives you when you squeeze and no mushy spots.

I like mine a little squishy but not so squishy it explodes at the

slightest touch. If its firm it ain't ripe yet.

I love avocados too (come to think of it, there isn't alot that I don't

love!) There is a Japanese restaurant we go to, and they make a fabulous

avocado

salad. They put some delicate greens as a base, slice up an entire avocado

over it, then a dressing of ground peanuts with a little lime juice and a dash

of soy (this is what I am guessing is in the sauce). It's quite yummy.
