Guest guest
Yep, potato soup. With just potatoes, bacon (crisp) onions and milk. Don't put no steenkin' carrots and celery in there (as I have had it served to me). I like carrots and celery, but not in my potato soup! I still look for something to make me feel better the way that did when I feel bad. Nothing else touches me the way Mom's Soup did!!! That was truly " comfort food. Guest guest
I think it's funny the variations there, Jacque. I like celery but I absolutely hate it in potato salads and soups. Guest guest
Ewww. Don't COOK it. That's just WRONG. I don't like it in salad, either. ??? Texture? Too hard compared to everything else? I like it straight up. Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
I never thought about the carrots and celery in potato soup. My mom would make her normal potato soup with carrots and celery but I don't think she did it in our potatoe soup when we were sick.
