Guest guest
Hello, My daughter, Avery, was diagnosed with torticollis and plagiocephaly at the beginning of August, and I just found out about this group. I took her in at three months to have her shoulder looked at because it popped a lot. The Lord works in great ways because she was there diagnosed for the tort and plagio. I am glad we didn't have to wait until she was four or six months. We have been doing therapy twice a week for the torticollis and she is improving her range of motion as well as the tilt. Last week we went to Dynamic Orthotics in Houston, and we are told she 12mm so we are going to move forward with the helmet, which I am told is a STARband. This group and all the pictures has really calmed my fears and almost gotten me a little excited to get her helmet to decorate. I know this is the best thing for her, and I can already tell a slight difference on the back of her head since she started sleeping on her tummy. I am more concerned about her forehead and front of the face. We go for the casting next week. Thank you and look forward to hearing your stories. I am so thankful for all the letters to insurance which we are hoping we don't have to do, but it is so nice it is there if it is denied.
