Yes, it does. There's just one brand called 'Almondie' that's made with blanched

almonds, but it's very expensive.

I have the same issue as you. I simply cannot tolerate almond butter but am okay

with flour. It must be the skins. I think Elaine mentions in BTVC that skins can

cause

gas.

I know of only one commercially made almond butter which has the skins

removed, and that's Almondie. Yes, the skins can cause issues.

If you are using blanched almond flour, like that from Lucy's Kitchen

Shop, yes, the skins are removed.

Does raw nut butter contain the skins of the almonds? I am wondering cause I had a flare of abdominal pain afterwards.

I don't seem to have a problem with the almond flour, so I'm assuming its cause the skins are removed.
