My PCP writes the lab order for me and sees the results, but a copy is also sent to my surgeon. What the PCP sees as normal may not be what the surgeon sees as normal. Have you sent a copy to your surgeon for his review? I moved from San Francisco to land one year post-op. I have found a local surgeon who has agreed to follow me post-op, but my surgeon in SF asks all of his patients to send copies of lab results to him no matter where you live so he can keep track of us. Is there a local surgeon you can go to? If not, why not fax your labs to your surgeon for his review?
