Guest guest
THANK HEAVENS!!!! THE SEARCH FUNCTION WORKS ON ALL POSTS NOW!!! WHOOPPEE!!! This was brought up recently but the question was never answered. I asked the question in May of 2008 and it was never answered either: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/BTVC-SCD/message/6507 Here is the post that I've always gone with: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/BTVC-SCD/message/15492 Legal alcohol Distilled liquors are the ones that are legal, scotch, vodka, etc. All in moderation. And when it comes to rum, makes sure, if you get a dark one, it's from being aged in the cask, not from any added colorings. Or stick with light to avoid the problem. As for wine, very dry wines are legal. Or wines from Australia, California, Italy, Portugal and one other country I'm forgetting - where it is illegal to add sugar to wine. Tequila is a distilled liquor so as per the post above, it should be ok. I'm not sure, but I do fine with it. Misty Kimble CD - no meds SCD - Jan 2008 > > Is tequila legal? I've seen blogs/posts both ways about it. I've found scd recipes that include it and then other people saying it's not okay. So I'm unable to find a definite answer anywhere online and the search function on the messages is not working for me at the moment (or last night...annoying). I understand that it's made from an illegal but so is rum and (light) rum is allowed because of how it's made/distilled....so....tequila? > Stacey >
