Guest guest
I had my doctor's appt - both eye and neur. The eye has greatly improved. I still don't have center vision yet and can't see color with the eye. The doctor said that the color on my optic nerve has changed a bit - hopefully not for the worse. Neur. we are 2 more weeks on the 100 mg pred. Then will start to ween 0ff or lower at least. No other meds. He said the tingling/numbness in hands and feet are side affects - not nerve damage. Also, said that nerve 7 is now involved along with 2 and 3 (have slight palsy on one side that really is not detectable). I see him again in 2 weeks. > > > > > > No scarey stuff, but Vitamin D and Sarc don't get along. Alot of us have > > > trouble with sun exposure because of this. There are many options other than > > > prednisone when you get more stable. My neuro also recommended Lipoic Acid to > > > help with the neuro-nerve damage Sarc does. There are others in this group who > > > have specifically had issues with their eyes, and they can give a great deal of > > > useful info. I'm so sorry you have needed to come to our group, but > > > Welcome...you are among friends. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ________________________________ > > > From: k.przy <k.przy@> > > > To: Neurosarcoidosis > > > Sent: Sun, October 3, 2010 7:53:08 PM > > > Subject: New to all of this. > > > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > I am new to all of this....I just finished my master's degree in teaching in > > > May.
