I am so excited for you. I am going in for pre-admission blood work on the 7th

Thanks Amy! I hope you get your meat issues settled soon. I am sure

I will be finding my own problems along the way and asking for help

for all of you. I just can't wait for my husband to get home from

work so I can surprise him! Would love to tell my son but he's in

the Navy and its hard to reach him. Guess an email will do for now.

that when I found out i was approved I as excited but after my first

consultation with my doctor and i got my date at the same time, I

got this really weired feeling and i went home and just cried till i

couldnt cry anymore.. I just looked at myself and asked myself why

did i let myself get this way.. I was so down and depressed, but

then after talking to a few people i felt better.. I had my surgery

on June 23, 2004, an am doing great.. Only problem that i have is

eating meats, so i just dont bother unless it is slices of ham ..

easy stuff like that..

Hey Deitra,

Gosh its more " real " now! I have to admit I've gone around the

house cleaning and eating my favorites...guess its the comfort stuff

I've needed! ;-) Don will be so surprised when he gets home cause

I've been babbling to him about my discourage over not knowing

anything from Dr. Black's office but I guess their ear's were

burning ... LOL! I will certainly keep in touch with you and you

also do likewise. Have you checked out www.obesityhelp.com and go

into the Alabama message board? I've been lurking and also filled

out my profile. Might want to do so if you haven't.

Thanks Sue! Guess it doesn't hurt to play hooky now and then...but

I just started a few weeks ago...LOL! Honestly I am working (or

trying to work) from home the past two day's since I didn't feel

like driving 1 1/2 hrs to the office.

Thanks Dora! I am bubbling over in energy right now and cleaning

the house like a mad woman! Guess I am getting my nest ready for

the aftermath. Geesh I was just thinking the time is going to fly!

I'll be thinking of you also that day cause getting stuck isn't a

great feeling either.

Thanks Laurette! It seems like age's since I had my appointment so

the waiting was eating at me. Something or someone told me to stay

at home working just one more day...LOL! UUmm and I know who it was

too! Yes the good Lord will watch over all of us! And I am so

excited cause my son just emailed me that he's excited, might

graduate his current Navy school on the 4th and might get to come be

with me the week of surgery. Goodness I have goosebumps now!
