Guest guest
I think I've got him on board to do an SCD legal BBQ sauce in the future so I hope his taste buds can improve this version. In the meantime, here's my sub-par recipe :)Thanks!! I'm sure it'll taste amazing to me, since I haven't had tomatoes in many months! I couldn't wait to try them again, and now that I'm going to, I'm having a hard time figuring out what to make first!! I'm thinking lasagna with dehydrated zucchini noodles. Anyone have a recipe? I'd prefer one using actual tomatoes if anyone has one; I didn't get along well with the tomato juice last time I tried, and I don't really want to risk the canned tomatoes at this point. I always add about a pound of ground red meat to this. It'll have a slightly different consistency -- smoother instead of chunky, but if you get the yogurt super-pressed out, you can sort-of chunk it in a layer, ala the DCCC. Tastes good, even if the consistency isn't quite the same. <g> I'm always in favor of more cheese! (Remember, I don't use blood for carrying oxygen to my cells... I use liquid cheese!) — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
