Guest guest
Dee, I'm glad to hear that the posts have been helpful. There is just SO much information to be found ... it's enough to make your head spin! Best of luck as you move forward to your surgery date. I hope you are making the most of each day! Guest guest
Carol, There is so much information on this site, and it's extremely helpful! I certainly am making the most of each day. Trying to eat good (and cheating some too ) in preparation for surgery! Dee miss_redagain2005 <no_reply > wrote: Dee, I'm glad to hear that the posts have been helpful. Guest guest
Dee, Cheating? As in, not sticking to your diet?! Absolutely!!!!!!! I highly reccommend it! Guest guest
Carol, Yup, not sticking to the diet We do have to do that sometimes don't we? Enjoy your night. I assume putting a t-shirt on post surgery is difficult. I'm trying to figure out how big of an opening to look for to be able to pull it over my head. Any suggestions? Guest guest
Dee, Yes, we sure do. Especially before jaw surgery!!! It is my habit to pull on a shirt face first and then kind of stretch it over the back of my head. I've found that as long as you do that it reverse, you'll be fine. Just pull the shirt over your head back first, so that any pressure you put on your head while stretching the neck to get it over your head, is on the back of your head. Geez, that sounds more complicated than it really is. I hope it helps! You have a good night too ... and thanks! Carol > > > Dee, > > > I'm glad to hear that the posts have been helpful. Guest guest
Carol, Not confusing at all, instead VERY helpful; thanks. I wouldn't think you'd be able to pull it on with swelling. Hey I'll give it a shot. Dee > > > > Dee, > > > > I'm glad to hear that the posts have been helpful. Guest guest
Dee For the 1st few days after surgery, I just wore shirts or tanks that had very wide necks. If I got cold, I would put on a zip up sweat shirt. My entire head was wrapped with this padding and gauze, so it was pretty big for the 1st couple days, but once that came off I was fine. I still chose shirts with bigger necks, because I just didn't want to bump my face when putting my shirts on. <y swelling was not that bad though. > > > > > Dee, > > > > > I'm glad to hear that the posts have been helpful.
