I am sorry that you feel this way,,,I am new here myself and really have no idea

what you are talking about ,,,but as I said I am sorry that you are leaving us

First and foremost I want to tell you how I feel. I was trying to

help another on here by explaining the difficulties of sleeping for

one night with a significant other especially if you are not

married. I remarked and spilled my guts and you made some " funny "

joke about telling them it was a gas leak after they " came to " . This

is number one a slightly embarassing situation for myself and the

fact that you could even say something like that on this website

means that you are here for a different reason than the rest of us,

or so it seems. I come here to offer and seek support, not be

ridiculed or questioned on my every move. Everyone's doctor and

program is different and the doctors, if researched, know what they

are doing. I understand that you have researched the American

Standard Surgical Consult and New England Journal of Medicine,

although I feel that we should follow ,ultimately, what each of our

doctors say.

Hi everybody, I must say that the New England Journal of Medicine

and the American Standard Surgical Consult and numerous others are

available to everybody out there. I simply say what I say because I

researched the HELL out of this procedure and over 20 years of study

and post op diets. I thought I was coming here for support but

every time I quesion one you on something that is forbidden after

these procedures I get a volley of snotty personal emails full of

trite and snide remarks. MOST of which concerning the fact that I

am new here and also that I " sound like a know it all " . I also get

a ton of very nice messages but I'm not here to get a back rub. If

Maybe I am stepping out there, but if that is how you feel then that is what you

should do. But when someone asks a question they are doing it because they want

an answer. If you answer is to always listen to " your " doctor then you would

not need the advice or suggestions of others you would only call " your " doctor.

I appreciate hearing what others have done or are doing even if it is different

from what my doctor says. I like to read it but I might not follow another

persons way.

I was just saying that we should follow their guidelines if we chose

to go to credible surgeons who know a hell of a lot more than you or

I. I was not the one that told him to leave either, I wanted to

state how I felt about his comment on my situation. I do not e-mail
