Guest guest
I'm sure you'll feel the same Ray, it's all a mind thing and as long as you stay feeling as great as you do now that feeling will continue. We are what our minds tell us we are and happy bodies make happy minds . Keep up the fantastic work! Guest guest
Ray, You went years not enjoying yourself because you felt self- conscious. Now is the time to enjoy life, as long as you are safe. I personally would love to see the tattoo. I plan to go back to dancing lessons once I can do so with out a heart attack. Life is short. Live it now! Guest guest
Hi Ray, My husband wants to know how you got the Harley, he has joked for years that when he goes thru his mid-life crisis, he wants a motorcycle. So for his 40th (or there about) I got him a motorcycle (Hotwheels size) :-). It doesn't matter if it's your new life or mid-life you're enjoying it and you're not hurting anyone so HAVE FUN! :-) glo --- Ray wrote: > I cannot believe I did but for those of you that > have follwed my > adventure into the losing side, I have yet taken > another step (okay, > more of a leap)into life. Guest guest
You guys are so awesome! This is why I keep coming back to this board, knowing that I have an absolute support system here. My wife enjoys riding with me and as I said in the original post - she " encouraged " the tattoo thing. I'm so blessed to have her in my life and she as always let me be me, unlike my first who wanted to change everything about me. Anyway, thanks again for the kudos and yes there is a picture of the tattoo in my folder RAY W - Omaha. Enjoy life, it's way to meaningful and short to let it slip away! -Ray > I cannot believe I did but for those of you that have follwed my > xxxxxxxx SNIP xxxxxxxxxx

Guest guest
Thanks, Someone asked about the significance of the eagle. To me it represents a couple different deep feelings that I am experiencing at this time in my life. One, patriotism, I love this country and feel blessed to have been born into this great land. No one but an American can appreciate their god given freedoms the way we can. Two, my expression of how I see my spirit since my WLS. Free and strong. Free from the bondage of obesity that held me back from being the best I could be. My soul and spirit are stronger for gaining the confidence and inner-peace that I have felt since WLS. Am I overstating my feelings on WLS, not really. For me, it was more than a lifestyle change, it has given meaning to my life. What does my future hold, I have no idea. I feel more self assured and more capable of handling what ever comes my way. Joy is what I feel and that is how I intend to live my life, with joy. ((off the soap box Ray...)) -Ray > Ray, so glad she enjoyed the time..just be careful now...great tattoo!!! MIMI .. ..<SNIP>
Guest guest
Ray, You can be on the soap box as long as you want. It makes me happy to read something like that which is truly from your soul. That is exactly what I hope will happen in me through the WLS. I hope that it opens a world to me that I have not known as a fat person and I hope that it empowers me to do things I never thought possible. Thank you for the inspiration.
