Guest guest
Carol, Now this is going to sound cheesy but I'm getting teary-eyed reading all these sweet good luck posts. What would I do without all of you?! Just knowing that there are so many of you going through the same thing as me has really helped me in staying positive and not freaking out about the surgery. Thank you, thank you and thank you! Carol, I'll be thinking of you tomorrow as well. I'll be thinking, so this is what Carol went through 4 and half weeks ago. And I'll be praying that your 'down' days start turning more into 'good' days. You deserve it! Thanks for the sweet offer to come pick me up! I can tell you are a good mom:-) My step-dad is actually going to come and pick me and my mother up. My mom is spending the night in the hospital with me, which makes me feel a lot better. I know, at 27 I am a BIG baby. I'll be writing to let you know how it all went as soon as I feel up to sitting in front of the computer, hopefully sooner rather than later. I am determined to be a fast and easy recovery! Guest guest
Sara, I know EXACTLY what you mean. Some of the folks on this site have become like an extended family. We bond quickly because of the experience we are sharing. I'm so glad to be a part of it! Thank you for your prayers. I think there will be lots of those tomorrow ... in your honor. Ok, good. Then I know you will get home safely. Yeah, the hospital staff was really wonderful about letting family stay. Visiting hours didn't really seem to be followed with any strictness at all. They said that they encouraged the support of visitors - that it helps in the healing process. I'm sure it will just what you need to have your Mom there with you. You give her a big hug for me - from one Mom to another. I'll be looking for your first post-op message ... with as much patience as I can muster! Super-duper-bestest wishes for tomorrow ... I hope everything goes the best that it possibly can!!! Hugs, Carol > > Sara, > > I just wanted to take a few moments to let you know that I'll be > > thinking about you tomorrow - sending you positive thoughts and > > good " vibes " .
