It hurt for awhile... but now I feel so great about how I look. It is an incredible feeling to look in the mirror and see a " normal " looking body... I actually find myself peeking at it in the mirror while getting dressed! No hints on the pain... except, it gets better each day..... se
Guest guest
, Glad you are home and doing well. I've been meaning to call you again but I have been really busy. I will however give you a call soon. I know the morphine itch feeling. I had it with the birth of my daughter ( c- section) big time. This time it wasn't to bad but I did insist on a sponge bath in the middle of the night just before I went home because I was starting to itch so bad. Morphine is great for giving you the itch! I know the drains are a pain. I had mine in for 4 weeks. You have to try and find the most comfortable way to lay them against your body. I used to pin them to my binder to hold them up and when I went out I put them in a fanny pack. It worked really well and no one was the wiser! You don't want them out to soon or you can develop a seroma and have to have it drained. I know I hated them but I am thankful the PS made me keep them so I didn't need any draining! I found I started getting headaches from the way I had my head propped up. Are you sleeping in bed with lots of pillows behind your head and under your knees? I did and it was hard to find a comfortable way to put my head without getting headaches. Could be the pillows! I'll try and call you later. I'm trying to catch up on some light work here.
