The LBL was the best thing I did. It hurt for awhile... but now I feel so

great about how I look. It is an incredible feeling to look in the mirror and

see a " normal " looking body... I actually find myself peeking at it in the

mirror while getting dressed!

No hints on the pain... except, it gets better each day.....

Glad you are home and doing well. I've been meaning to call you again but I

have been really busy. I will however give you a call soon. I know the

morphine itch feeling. I had it with the birth of my daughter ( c- section)

big time. This time it wasn't to bad but I did insist on a sponge bath in

the middle of the night just before I went home because I was starting to

itch so bad. Morphine is great for giving you the itch! I know the drains

are a pain. I had mine in for 4 weeks. You have to try and find the most

comfortable way to lay them against your body. I used to pin them to my

binder to hold them up and when I went out I put them in a fanny pack. It

worked really well and no one was the wiser! You don't want them out to soon

or you can develop a seroma and have to have it drained. I know I hated them

but I am thankful the PS made me keep them so I didn't need any draining!

I found I started getting headaches from the way I had my head propped up.

Are you sleeping in bed with lots of pillows behind your head and under your

knees? I did and it was hard to find a comfortable way to put my head

without getting headaches. Could be the pillows!

I'll try and call you later. I'm trying to catch up on some light work here.
