Guest guest
Marilyn, Oh, dear! There's so much of this these days, where you even learn about it the wrong way. I'm so sorry to hear that Avondale is closing, even though glad your husband's engineering department will live. But, Pascagoula? Will he have to commute or will you have to move? I sincerely hope the engineers can stay put! This week has been kind of stressful -- we woke up Tuesday to the headline " Avondale to Close! " Since Avondale is where my husband works, and since he hadn't heard anything about this from his company, this was a matter of concern. We determined later that (through a company meeting) that the engineering department stays here, but the actual building of the ships will be moving to Pascagoula, MS. — Marilyn
Guest guest
Well, of course Harry is right. You can't really solve a problem until you know what it is. But I sincerely hope you won't have to move. I'm sure Katrina was more than enough upheaval! As Harry says, all we can do is take things one day at a time. No point in coming unglued until we have more information. — Marilyn
