Guest guest
Acre, I am not sure where in TX you are from but I am from San (42 years) and I can tell you that at University Hospital (a teaching and formly county hospital) you are treated with the same care as if you had insurance. Its their mission to find and treat anyone from any background. I have been on both sides of the fence there and did not see a difference for any illness be it a serious one or a minor one. Private/System Hospitals will sometimes give you grief but even there we were seen without an being neglected. You might want to start looking outside your boundaries and see that all hospitals in TX are not that bad. BTW, this site holds many informative individuals that maybe do not give you the answer's you were wanting to hear but are telling you the truth! Hope you have a good day. > thank you all for your replies. I need to find a site that has more > bad experiences on it than this one. Guest guest
Is the Hill/Burton Act still in effect? That's the one if you receive federal funding you must treat so many people without insurance. I know 30 years ago I was without insurance and used the emergency rooms for my son.
