Guest guest
I am not post-op yet, but my thoughts on that are... You have gone through so much to loose the weight. Why would you sabotage yourself by beginning to put the bad for you foods back into you again? Just my 2 cents and that is really all it is worth. Guest guest
Hey Amy. I know what you mean. I am starting to think about food again, in the beginning it did not bother me. I look at it this way. Yes, it is a tool and we need to follow it the best way we can. But we are going to have cravings and I think it would be better to face the craving and have a little bit then it would be to try to snuff it and end up binging like crazy. Like they said, they reduce our stomachs, not our brains. One person on here still eats a mini milky way bar when she craves chocolate and she has lost a lot of weight. I personally am deathly afraid to try any sugar or fried foods for fear of getting sick. I have yet to dump and am completely afraid of it. I did however, get a bag of sugar free peanut butter cups the other day from " my secret sister " at work and they are AWESOME. I have only eaten one and I keep them in the fridge outta sight. When it is impossible to handle (which has only been once in 10 weeks) I will have a better alternative to the sugar. Maybe you could try shake'n bake chicken instead. I know there are carbs but it would still be better then the actual " fried " . Good luck to you. I know it is hard!!! At 2 months out there was no way (JMO) you should be eating fried chicken. It may not make you dump but I at 16 and half months out cant eat fried chicken.
