my daughter is now almost 1 year old and was diagnosed with mild plagio and tort

at 2 months old. We were advised not to pursue the helmet as her shape was

actally where some patients graduate from the hemlet. I have to say that her

head has improved and we are happy with it. I am concerned because her one eye

does appear to sit slightly higher than her other eye. I was wondering if

others have experienced this with their children and if it has improved over

time. If it improved was it becasue you banded and that helped with the

improvement. We were told by cranial tech at the consult that the band would

not help with her eye asymmetry and the positioning so I did not push for the

help solely for his reason. We are also doing exercises for the tort but that

does not seem to change the eye positioning.

Thanks,

Annette (mom to 1 year with mild plagio and tort)
