Dear Migrant Health Colleague, Save the Date/ Callfor Abstracts Mark your calendars for the 2009 East Coast Migrant StreamForum. This year's forum will be held on October 22-24, 2009at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Begun by the North Carolina Community HealthCenter Association in 1988, the Forum is the oldest annual conferencededicated to improving health outcomes and health care delivery to migrantand seasonal farmworkers and their families along the east coast. Through workshops and networking opportunities, health professionals andadvocates are exposed to the latest in clinical trends, farmworker-specificservice delivery models, cutting-edge research, and legistlative and fundinginitiatives. NCCHCA is now accepting abstractsubmissions for possible presentation at the conference. The conferenceprogram revolves around 5 tracks: Clinical, Outreach/ Lay HealthPromotion, Policy/ Advocacy, Programmatic/ Administrative and Research. Suggested topics are listed on the abstract form.
