I said for breakfast i drink a protein shake, 20 grams protein, then i had

string chees 6 grams protein, i had small bag of peanuts 7 grams of protein, and

i had some baked potato tht dont have alot of protein with the exception of the

cheese on it which isnt much, also, i drink a shake at night for a snake that is

20 more grams of protein. then for super i will eat a bowl of beans that i

cooked, so me not getting enough protein isnt the problem ,because i make sure

to get that in.... my problem is that when i eat and i feel full i stop and then

im hungry again soon..

Amy I have a ? for you do you have a nutrionist you can talk to that your doctor

uses or recommends. Because if thats what you ate to me and what my doctor would

say isnt very much protien, You really need to get your protien in first and

formost, I am 16 months out and I still drink my protien shakes. Reason they

fill me up and keep me from snacking. I am not a breakfast person so I drink one

in the am to tied me over till I can get something food wise to eat. At 2 months

I was eating eggs. Refried beans anything with more substance. I did have to eat

potatoes because of the potasiumm. (sp) but try and put something like cheese on

it to help get some type of protien in or something that will fill you up

better. I do admit I do have a snack before bedtime now but its protien. And it

does help keep me full. Each doctor is different as is each person. Also what

about your water intake. Water is one of the best ways to keep you feeling full.

I have a bottle on me at all times. And I am

not joking I have water with me 24-7If I feel that urge to eat or snack and I

know if I drink water and it goes away it was head hunger. If not then I will

eat something protien. I hope I have helped some.

I have been told most hunger pains are actually dehydration. Drink

water first wait a few minutes drink some more and see if you are

still hungry.

At my support group we talked about this, it is your brain telling

you it's hungry. The group leader called it " mind hunger " basically

you know you have had enough to eat but you brain remembers when...

The consensus was drink more water and get busy doing other things.

I am three and a half weeks out and haven't had this problem yet.

Good Luck
