Guest guest
Celeste, Good for you. When in your life did you ever imagine that you would be excited about crackers. Funny how our perspectives change. Way to go with the loss. Keep up the good work. Guest guest
Oh i just have to share this i have started the process of my pre-op visits wooo hooo i am so excited. Now mind you my poison ivy has pushed me into this giggles i had to go see my MD today for meds . So i wouldn't be freaking out any more with the pain and itching but i got to speak with her and i made an appt for 2 weeks to get referrals for all my tests i need which is only 3 and i have an appt for my upper gi this thursday gawd i hope that goes well. Because i do know i have gerd i hope thats all i have and no ulcers. But i am certainly going to remain positive i am telling myself i am going to get this surgery no matter what. I am no longer going to stay stuck in this body that keeps me married to my house and married to fat racks. Though i am alot of times proud of who i am and feel sexy there are times when myself esteem is not as high as i would like i think it is. But i am working on it i have also after visiting my DR found out i lost 10 lbs on my own by walking my dog 10 mins everyday and just eating less. And my surgeon did say that he would like me to do so. But he did not stress the idea. And my surgeon is also very big on protein and veggies and he also stresses the fact that he wants me to get away from carbs. I have been doing research the stores on things you all have been talking about just to be aware for after my surgery. And i now realize that i am pre-op like alot of you all are i know i feel silly just realizing it but it is becoming reality for me now and i am getting very excited. Thanks for letting me vent! from Southern NJ. Dora McCary wrote: Celeste, Good for you. When in your life did you ever imagine that you would be excited about crackers. Guest guest
, If he burns it be sure not to breath the smoke. I am not allergic but my cousin in severely and breathing it made her very sick. Just FYI. Dora in Tennessee Lap/Open RNY 9/20/2004 Vanderbilt Hospital Re: Just wanted to share.... Hey ! Guest guest
Hey Dora!!! Thanks for the advice cause I am asthmatic and certainly don't need to be bothered with that too. Dh was talking about this new fangled thing that does burn like a torch you carry with a propane tank attached. Yikes...that scares me enough as it is!
