Guest guest
AnnMarie, how much plus was your 24 hour yogurt? Yogurt made scd way is very potent. It sounds like it caused die off in you. You could try dripping it and trying a spoonful that way. You could also just try a spoonful of the yogurt the way it was. Maybe you had to much at once when you first introduced. it. Guest guest
Try chilled coconut milk. It tastes like coconut-flavored skin lotion and has the texture you want, depending on the thickness of the milk. fi
Guest guest
Thank you very much for your reply Katy. I had the yoghurt on for 25 hours plus 8 hours in the fridge. I used goat's milk and an approved cow's milk starter. I ate 1 teaspoon four days apart and each time broke out in a rash and felt very unwell. I am pleased you mentioned it could be a die-off reaction, as it was in my first week of SCD - and it gives me hope that one day in the future I may be able to tolerate SCD yoghurt - I loved the taste of it and craved more. Your help is much appreciated. Anne-Marie IBS 15 months SCD 8 days!! and hoping...

Guest guest
It's amazing that banana is the only ingredient. It looks just like regular ice cream :-).
