Hi Tammy and all looking for books,

I have been doing research into books that are out

there in regard to weight loss surgery. I put

together a spreadsheet with all of the books I found

it includes the title, author, IBN, is it available at

Borders or and Noble book stores, or Amazon and

checked my library. I was able to get quite a few

from the library and once I read them I'll decide if

it is one I want to buy.

The ones I have right now are Carnie 's book Gut

Feelings. I just finished reading it. Her language

is vulgar at times which I didn't care for. It wasn't

exactly what I was expecting but ok. I could relate

to some things but it doesn't have food lists. The

back of the book has questions with answers for the

surgeon, nutritionist, endocrinologist and

psychologist.

I also checked out Before and After by Leach. I

orginally found it on obesityhelp.com I think. More

than 1/2 the book is related to food. It has recipes

for protein shakes, chicken and turkey, desserts, a

section on protein carbs and sugar after WLS.

I found a total of 16 books and I'm sure that is not

all of them. But some of them are out of print and

can't be found. Alot of them are instock at Borders

or can be ordered.

I would be happy to send my spreadsheet to anyone that

would like it, with my notes about where I found it or

if I found it.

Hope this helps someone.
