Guest guest
This doctor sounds scary. I'm guessing you don't feel comfortable placing your life in his hands and I don't blame you. Advice? Definitely....RUN to another doctor. 11/18/03 284/249 preop/
Guest guest
I definately have some advice! Ask your Surgeon straight out how many of these surgeries he has performed and how many deaths have occurred and how many complications. He has to answer that. My Surgeon volunteered that info. to me on my initial consultation. I would definately NOT let a Surgeon touch me who has not performed many many of these types of surgeries. It is not worth the risk. Your Insurance Co. will probably not refuse you for choosing a different surgeon. Call them and talk to them perhaps and tell them what you have learned about this particular surgeon? Please do not have the surgery done by someone who is not qualified or someone you do not feel quite comfortable with. The risks involved with this surgery are already too great to have it performed on you by someone with not enough experience. Colleen Lap-Rny 11/03/03 315/195/??? > Hello everyone. Guest guest
You say he's just started doing this type of surgery and he's already ad a couple of patients Die? I could understand if hes been qualified in the gastric bypass for years and years but if recent then thats not exceptable, plus the other info you were saying about him. My advise is that the surgery is already very risky, dont put yourself at more risk by going to this man, I know you may want to have this surgery but there are other ways of receiving it if you really are ment for it. Most likely you are getting this surgery to live a long and healthy life am I wrong? why do somthing that can take that all away from you just to be thin. Please Please find another doctor. > Hello everyone. I have heard some " stories " about my surgeon that > have me worried.
