Guest guest
Hello everyone. I have heard some " stories " about my surgeon that have me worried. He has just begun to do the procedure and I have heard that he has had a couple of patients die. I was also told that he is not allowed to do the surgery in the hospital that I am planning on using. I have not heard anything from him or his office about that, though. I was told at my consultation that he had not done many of the surgeries and that they were currently revising the procedure (required testing and such). I have already gone to the first of my psych. eval. and have an EDG scheduled for Tuesday. I am worried that if I decided not to use this doctor that it will screw up my chances of being approved for surgery by my insurance. I had contacted a surgeon about 200 mile away from home before going to see my family doctor and being referred to this surgeon and am planning on calling his office tomorrow to get their advice. Does anyone have any advice about this?
