I know this was discussed recently but I can't find it. Expeller pressed is ok,

right?

Tropical Traditions is having a sale (note there $5 shipping coupon) is going on

and I need more oil. I wanted to check before I ordered.

Also, I hear it's good to use as part of your oil in mayonnaise! Cheers!Alyssa 16 yo UC April 2008, dx Sept 2008SCD June 2009 (restarted)Azathioprine 75 mg 1x per dayPrednisone 22.5 mg 1x per day

Thanks! I've been cooking in it too. I recently made a desert for friends that mimics an almond joy and it used almost my whole bottle. It was a smaller bottle. Dessert was awesome though. Now I need more oil.

Yes, it's fine. I use the fancy stuff when I want a bit of coconut taste

to things. I use the expeller pressed in things like mayonnaise and for

cooking eggs.

The stuff with the coconut flavor -- the extra virgin.
