post op three here too.

I was more tired today and blew my nose and thought I blew blood

through my palate if that makes sense..?

I went off the oxycontin for the day but had one tonight with gravol.

it's not every day that i decide

to voluntarily offer my jaw to be sliced up.

=lol nope only three times here! But its true you feel some sort of

recovery guilt like you chose this..

my husband is amazing and letting me sleep and keeping the kids off

me - wow.

swelling continues to go down but in the process other areas of my

face have started to look puffier. for example, today i am dawning

the Miss Chipmunk of the year look.

=lol I forgot to take pictures today I look like miss beat up

chipmunk as the bruises the bright yellow ones are comming out..

but I am a little frustrated by

how little appetite i have. i'm reading about everyone craving

something and i don't crave a thing.

=I crave later, now I am like you 1.5 ensures today and that soup

you mentioned - eggs and broth - good! but I am not hungry yet.

And can't believe I am peeing this much - lol must be all the water

fluids kept in my face.

I've also started to notice that those dreaded pimples caused from

anesthesia are starting to come out.

=I got those teenage acne buff alchohol pads as the food falls on

the chin alot - try them.

Sara,

I did not get any real appetite till about yesterday (10 days post-

op). Now I am STARVING for real food. I need some pizza or meat or

something. What I really want is BREAD!!!!! I'm highly considering

getting biscuits from KFC and mixing them with a ton of gravy till

they are liquid. Isn't that just gross???? But it may help my carb

craving.

Sara,

I'm glad to hear that your hurdles are minor ... basically. :)

Moving on to the next day,
