Guest guest Posted October 16, 2003 Report Share Posted October 16, 2003 It is my understanding that on the old labels when you calculated the calories from fat, protein, and carbs, the calories would not match what was on the label. Since the calories were not really fat or protein, they were included as part of the carbs. So, although they don't necessarily act like carbs they are counted as carbs. The net carbs is what I pay attention to. Just keep in mind that there are still calories represented there that is not protien and not fat. Does that make sense?
