i am 13 years plus past a BPD and what i can eat still changes day to day.

some days it seems like nothing fills me up and some days i just am not hungry

all day. the two things that still affect me badly are rice and pasta. i

don't get sleepy or dump...they just lay in my stomach for what seems like hours

and make me feel really uncomfortably full to the point of throwing up. like

i've put too much in my tummy and it all wants to come back up. NOT a feeling

i look for!

i do what my hubby considers odd things. i can eat most of the sandwich, but

i leave the outside. i can eat 3 regular pieces of pizza, but don't eat the

crust. i'm not a french fry person, so that was never my issue. i almost

never eat salad...it comes out just the way i've chewed it in say 30 minutes, so

what's the point? i was never a rabbit kind of girl anyway. can't do milk or

ice cream...can we say lactose intolerant????

i do need to eat things with substance. i love scrambled eggs with cheese

and do eat them, but they don't stay around long enough to keep me satisfies.

same with soups and stews...i'm hungry again an hour later. actually, it's

time to eat now! talk to everyone later!

peace, phyl

I " can " eat anything. I choose not to. I try to eat mostly protein and then

have a bite or two or whatever else is on my plate. I will dump if I eat too

much sugar, so my sweet treats are sugar free -- which will cause bad gas

pains if I have too much (learned that the hard way). I'm not lactose

intolerant

so I can have any kind of dairy.
