Remember that she is one smart lady and he would have been researched by her huge staff before even being allowed near her. However, everytime he makes outrageous statements he generates mail which enhances his value to the network. It is entertainment. This is only an entertainment show. I personally avoice these people. It's no different than if she had gone to him for help with her late husband's cancer. She reports on the research being done on Grehlin, Leptin, etc., and sits right next to Al Roker!
