Guest guest
Amy, I used to puree tuna fish salad, even did spaghetti o's....lol. Actually they were pretty tasty. I ate a lot mashed potatoes with grated cheese during that stage. I would put grated cheese on most anything I ate, added calcium and protein and I love cheese. Good luck and it does get easier. Guest guest
do you have a food processor amy? you can put anything in that and puree it. you can do chicken with some chicken broth or use fat free cream of mushroom soup. you can do fruit or veggies, but PROTEIN is the key. try a protein shake too, that usually works well. you can sip on it all day and get a lot of protein in. i use the Vitamin Shoppe brand vanilla protein powder with skim milk and frozen fruit in the blender. in Delaware Lap RNY 3/10/04 261/179/
Guest guest
Terry, Welcome to the group and congratulations on your progress so far. I know just how you feel about eating. I'm 12 weeks out and I still having trouble eating the same thing twice. I don't tolerate chicken, pork and ground meat very well. I eat mostly fish, cheese, eggs and high protein items. It does get easier though. But I have seen where a lot of the folks have trouble with chicken not being moist enough. Everything for me seems to be trial and error. Guest guest
You may want to ask her if the protein breaks down after an hour. I have read it several different places that you should drink your protein within the first hour and it may be something she needs to research. Or maybe the sites I've learned it from is wrong. Who knows? --- Amy wrote: > my nutritionist told me that a proteein drink can be > sipped on all day long if liked..
