First of all, I have developed osteitus pubis (inflammation of the pubic joint) and then I developed hip pain. I have sensory peripheral neuropathy but I have a hunch I have a hell of a lot more than that. Pain is my daily companion and I just do not know where to go from here. Canada doesn't have a sarcoidosis specialist.. .not one. I am sooooo tired of being in pain. You all know what I am saying...you are living it too. If anyone else has had this kind of pain...from the hip and from the pelvis...please let me know if there is anything that helps. I am struggling so hard these days to stay positive...its so darn hard. from Canada...who doesn't want to live in pain every day
Guest guest
MSM Powder helps rebuild the collogen and will allow you more mobility-- so that eventually you can get some stretching in that joint. Guest guest
I take Lyrica for pain, it's for nerve pain, and it really helps, also MSM, and Tylenol Arthritis, but never 100 % pain free. However, can't live without these either. hope this helps, Marla Okay all, I have some problems. Guest guest
, hip pain can have many causes. Several years ago I had severe right hip pain. I tried massage thereapy, chiropractic, exercises/PT. I had xrays & MRI to rule out --shoot, I can't remember the term, but it's damage to the joint from Prednisone--anyway, nobody could figure out what it was or how to help it. Finally, I went to an orthopedist, along with all the stuff I used to cope--ice pack, rice sock, nerf football to apply the right amount of pressure--he listened to my story, then announced that he knew what was wrong & could fix it in 5 minutes! Naturally, I was a bit skeptical, but he was right. I had bursitis of the hip, inflammation of the joint fluid. He gave me a cortisone shot & by the time I had my pants back up, the pain was gone! I've had it off & on since then, but never bad enough to need another shot. So, the point of all this is that sometimes our symptoms may have nothing to do with sarc, so be sure to look into all the possibilities. After seeing this guy, I read up on hip bursitis & it fit my history almost exactly. You might want to research it & see if it sounds anything like your symptoms. I suffered for almost 2 years, seeing a variety of providers. This doc later did a tendon release for carpal tunnel syndrome, which was very successful, with no problems & back to work (as a midwife) in 2 weeks, so I thought he was great, but a year or so later the hospital revoked his privileges for substandard clinical practices! Glad I got my care before that. Guess I was lucky! Ramblin' RoseModerator A merry heart is good medicine.
