Guest guest
Does anyone have the recipe book that tells you how long to heat the cheese to make taco shells? I can't find it in any of my cookbooks but I know I saw it before. Guest guest
I think I tried this with about 6 slices of cheese one day and I couldn't get the shells crisp w/out burning the cheese. Wonder what I was doing wrong? I followed the recipe in the book I have. Thanks Katy Katy, I shred the cheese and arrange it in a circle on parchment, then bake at 200F for about an hour, or until melted and slightly dry on top. Then I remove it, drape it over metal taco shell bakers which can either be placed back in the oven or in an Excalbiur on 150F until crisp. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
