Guest guest
My sister and I both had VERY painful menstrual cramps from our first periods. Hers were sometimes so excruciating that she ended up a couple of times in the emerg. rm for opiates. I always said that childbirth couldn't be worse than mine -- and it WASN'T!! In fact, looking back, I felt grateful that those years of cramps made (prepared) natural childbirth no biggee!!! She ended up to have very bad endometriosis. I didn't discover our familial tendency to need lots of magnesium till I was post-menopausal but have read that it really can help. Why don't you try it? I take 400 mg. of magnesium glycenate as needed beginning w/ once or twice a day.
