My bad stuff was 120 but because of the diabetes doc wants it below 100 so now it's Lipitor for me. Rats! Alice The Loon RNY Very, very proximal 12/28/00 Well, my malabsorber is working well....my last cholesterol count was 102 and that was non-fasting. I think that's a bit too low. Not exactly sure. Guest guest
, All of the above! I exercise and body build 3-4 times a week. I add 2T of flaxseed meal to my cottage cheese or Keto hot cereals in the morning and I take NOW Omega-3 capsules daily. Feels good to know that it is all working like it should! I would love to have a survey of everyone's HDL to see just how high everyones is and what they are doing to get it even higher! Thanks Carol G. > Carol, wow -- your HDL is awesome! Guest guest
Mine runs in that range, too. And there's a rumor we malabsorb less with time. Mmmm. Guest guest
I am not sure I understand the good, the bad and the ugly of cholesterol readings. Yours is 94 and mine is 157. My HDL is 85 but does that make my over cholesterol reading as good as a 94?? Ugh..this makes me crazy! (I understand that the 85 stands proud protecting my arteries against clogging up.) Guest guest
It is an acquired taste lol.. But truly, the banana nut cereal with a touch of caramel SF syrup or butter rum and 2T of flaxseed is very good. The apple cinnamon with cinnamon SF syrup and a handful of blueberries is VERY good (or maybe it's growing on me Funny how these things start tasting good after awhile lol!
