Guest guest
Sara, I am so glad for your good report from the doc. I have been in a not dissimilar situation, although mine didn't go so far as getting the biopsy. (My doc was on vacation, and his partner said he would have ordered one; I waited until my own doc came back, with much trepidation, and was feeling very dubious and sorry for myself at having to go through all this stuff -- echosounds, ultrasounds, and I forget what all else -- until I realized, when I got the final report, how very silly I'd been. I immediately reversed fields in his office and thanked him, and told him I knew that this was really some very good news that could have been awful that he'd had to hand out.) So congratulations. Glad you're well and back to enjoying life! C.
Guest guest
Oh, and lest I frighten or worry anybody out there. My little situation was long before I'd even had a thought that I might need orthognathic surgery, or even braces again. There was no link at all between the two things for me. Guest guest
Thanks Cammie for your very kind words, especially because I know that someone very close to you has recently not been as lucky as me health wise. I hope he is doing better. As for me, this little health scare has really taught me to appreciate good health and to take better care of myself. Boy am I glad that I quit smoking 7 months ago and even gladder than my darling fiance' has also finally decided to quit. Guest guest
Sara - I'm sorry to hear of your Gynecologic scare, but am SO relieved to hear that the biopsy was benign! With all the stress you have been under, with your surgery and all, it's easy for your regularity (Gyn-wise) to get all fouled up. The usual rule is: Stress in the beginning of your cycle means you will be early & stress in the end of your cycle means you will be late. Sometimes it takes a few cycles to get regular again. Take care and be as patient with your body as with your recovering face! ~~ Diane > > Sara, I am so glad for your good report from the doc. > > > > I have been in a not dissimilar situation, although mine didn't go > so > > far as getting the biopsy. Guest guest
Thanks Diane for your kind words:-) I'm just so glad to have that whole biopsy ordeal over with. I see from your previous posts that you're still not convinced about having the le forte done but that ur happy to get lipo done! Funny how I see the lip being more gorry than the le forte. to each their own fears, right? well your OMS certainly sounds like a lovely man and a good doctor who has been keeping you informed about what the procedure involves well in advance of the actual surgery date and that is very good. as for the talking with the splint, i was talking after 2 days. i found the erase board really frustrating because people would just start to walk away when i was half way through writing what i had to say. at first talking was frustrating because i really felt like i sounded like a baby and often people didn't understand me but it did feel good just to talk again rather than write on my board like crazy. you'll be fine. i'm sure:-) Sara > > > Sara, I am so glad for your good report from the doc. > > > > > > I have been in a not dissimilar situation, although mine didn't go > > so > > > far as getting the biopsy.
