Guest guest
I think I voted for July 30th - Aug 2. That is usually a good time of year. Anything after July 4th is considered summer. LOL Oh....and I do have a guest room. But you have to LOVE dogs. I never know how many I am going to have at any given time. Guest guest
I have lived in Washington for my entire life, I got to tell you all that last summer was the most awesome summer ever here. We broke a record of temps. above 70, my Uncle came out from Arizona in July and melted he said it was a stcky warm, felt good to me. Since having surgery I am freezing all the time, I used to sleep with just my butt covered with a sheet and the window open, now the window is closed and I have three quilts. Any way it usually is nice July 5th on till September. So if that helps make your decision as to when I say after the fourth. Guest guest
I am a transplant, but my family is from the East coast and I have lived on the East coast and TRUST ME.....WA in late July early August is awesome compared to your heat and humidity. We sure did have an awesome summer this year. We will pay for it this winter. LOL The Vitagal will be happy...we might even get some snow. Personally...me, my doggies and my hubby will be inside with the fireplace going. Guest guest
>> Wet & cool??? No thanks! , brace yourself. Western Washington typically has 300 days a year of rain. July and August would be the best bets for no rain, but even then, we think it's blistering hot if it gets to 85 degrees. We wear jeans and sweaters all year round, most years. This past summer we had an unprecedented 65 consecutive days of temperatures over 70. Yes, 70. That's how it is here. But it is lush, and green, and beautiful, most all the time. Everything grows here, from pine trees to palm trees. Ferns and blackberries spring up in empty parking lots. Think fall, more or less, most of the year. ~~ Lyn G
Guest guest
I voted for the last weekend listed. There is a slightly higher chance of no rain. Or at least not rain every day of it. LOL! Guest guest
Well, the later in the summer, the more chance of seeing the mountain. If it's out, you can't miss it. Kinda on the large side. Especially from here in Puyallup. It's the backdrop for everything. And living here doesn't make it boring. I still come around a corner & there it is, absolutely breath taking. Never get tired of it! Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
I am with you, A little moisture would be great. Besides, where I work we shut down for the fourth of July so I won't have any vacation time built back up. B New poll for Graduate-OSSG > > > > > > Enter your vote today! Guest guest
Whatever. LOL! I shouldn't even vote. I'm pretty much here except for June/early July. I only voted forAugust so we'd hear less whining about gray days. LOL! Thanks, Vitalady, Inc.
