Guest guest
Congratulations to the three of us! Yes, I'm getting my braces really soon; my OD appointment to discuss his ortho plan of action is Tuesday morning. One of my OMS's assistants told me Thursday that I can go ahead and get braces put on, prior to my OMS appointment on July 18th for my 1st of two Orthognathic Surgery consults.(The first one is the work-up; the second a few weeks later is the discussion of his surgical treatment plan and a question & answer session). My OD and my OMS have already had their discussion of my case. Looks like this is really going to begin for us! We might as well eat all the forbidden foods now, because we won't be able to later.[popcorn,etc.] Let's keep in touch! ~~~~ Diane > > > Dee, > > > > > > hip hip hooray for your insurance approval! Guest guest
Hi Diane, Well, we could each be in braces really soon then! I am excited about it, but apprehensive too. I know we will get used to them, but that intial " breaking in " period is something I am dreading. I call Monday to see how to proceed with the OD. His office said everything is set up, he just has to talk to my regular dentist, who will be doing the full mouth rehab when the surgey and braces are completed. Here we go!
