Hi Everyone!

Well, I have the letter in hand! YEAH!! I am pre-approved for

upper and lower surgery. I don't have OD or braces coverage, but my

OD has a payment plan with no interest for 18 months after a

downpayment. I am going to use that. I will be out a maximum of

$1000 for the entire surgery though. So that is great news!!

I will still have the full mouth rehab costs too. I know insurance

will pick up some of the full mouth crown work, but I don't know

that they will cover each tooth. I have had so much tooth breakage,

that I already have several crowns, and they will need to be

replaced, and thus those will be covered, and some of the more

damaged broken teeth will also likely be covered, but they are

talking about crowning all of my teeth to maintain the new position

of my jaw (I have an excessively overdeep bite) so I have asked my

dentist who will be doing the crowns to get pre-approval too. I am

still waiting on that one, but it should be in by now as well. I

have already been assured that my septoplasty will also be covered.

But when I am about a year out from that, I will get pre-approval

too. That one is obviously medically necessary.

I have a phone appointment with the OD on Monday, and they said they

are ready to start the braces once he speaks to me again. The molds

are done, and I am set. Here I go.............!!!
