Guest guest
There are ups and downs as the body heals, but quite often we have to make adjustments to our food choices in the beginning. Our digestions aren’t ready for many of the permitted foods, and it takes a few months to figure out what our digestions can and can’t tolerate in the beginning. What is your husband currently eating? There might be some foods that are problems for most people in the beginning. Has he been on the intro. diet? There is a helpful list of food stages here http://pecanbread.com/p/how/stages.html Many folks also need medications in the beginning stages of SCD, to help their bodies heal. What are the medications your husband is taking? What is his diagnosis? I’m not being nosy [grin]. All this information will help us give you more relevant suggestions and options. Kim M. He began to show improvements, and has had some bouts of bloody frequent diarrhea again ... will there be ups and downs like this until things settle down? Any advice out there?
