Guest guest
Forgive me, but am I reading that right Amy? You had surgery 7/15 and had queso and chips last night? I don't have a problem with cheese dip and chips now, but didn't attempt until 2-1/2 months out or so, my doctor would have flipped if I tried that at 3 weeks out, but all doctors and patients for that matter are different. My best guess would be that you tried too much too soon. One word of advise is just to take it SLOW! You have the rest of your life to try queso and chips . Have 1 chip, not 4 and see how it sits when you chew very well, just wait and see how it feels before continuing. It's all just re-learning how to eat to maintain comfort. Guest guest
Ohhhhh, much better Amy . So you did actually vomit or was it only discomfort? Were you drinking while you ate? Guest guest
no, i dont drink while i eat, but after i started feeling full i stopped, and i sat therebecause of the discomfort in my chest waiting for the food to go down, but al of a sudden i got nausated and ended up in the rest room... i felt much better afterward though.. amy Sagel Burns wrote: Ohhhhh, much better Amy . Guest guest
Hmmm....could have been either not chewing well enough or something simply didn't sit well (I've had that happen one time).
