Guest guest
Hi, I'm 16 and will be having lower jaw surgery in about a year or so, because I have an overbite. The question I have is: will I need to have upper jaw surgery for my open bite? I know they will be correcting this but I don't know how and I can't find information about it. Guest guest
Hi Emma, I'll be having upper and lower jaw surgery in about a year because of an open bite. Did your oral surgeon say that all you'd be having is lower? You would need both upper and lower if both upper and lower jaws need to be adjusted to form a normal bite...This is an awesome web site to find out more: about others' experiences etc. I've also done searches on the internet and that's helped too. ~Joanne > Hi, I'm 16 and will be having lower jaw surgery in about a year or so, > because I have an overbite.
