Guest guest
Hi Luna, I have had the same problem, and the best solution I have found was taking some Claritin, or Loratadine (generic version), it clears up the sinuses like that! I also bought a rubber bulb that is used on infants to extract from the nose, it helped because you don't want to blow too hard. Hope it helps! After a few days it should stop altogether! _____ From: orthognathicsurgerysupport [mailto:orthognathicsurgerysupport ] On Behalf Of str8teeth4me Sent: Friday, July 15, 2005 11:11 PM To: orthognathicsurgerysupport Subject: Runny nose Has anyone else had a runny nose post-surgery? Guest guest
Hi Luna! Yep, I had the runny nose too. But I also had upper and lower surgery. Perhaps it is from the anesthetic. I know people get a little extra phlegmy from it. I wouldn't worry about it. With all of the drugs that you are probably on, there's no chance of getting a cold Fay > Has anyone else had a runny nose post-surgery? Mine has been dripping > like a faucet since Monday. Guest guest
Thanks, Nikki. Do you think Benadryl would work? I have that on hand. Maybe I'll try it today or pick up some Claritin at Safeway. Thanks! L
