Guest guest
Sounds like dumping to me. The barbecue sauce has sugar in it and it was probably allot and it made you dump.
Guest guest
Vicki, How far out are you? Did your doctor include chicken in the soft foods diet? Did you check the sugar content on the bbq sauce? -- Sagel Burns Lap RNY April 9, 2004 (-83 lbs.) 348/265/140 (begin/current/goal) carrie@... - www.carrieburns.net > Hi, > I had a bad evening last night. Guest guest
The same thing happened when I first tried scrambled eggs and cannot tolerate them any longer and they were my favorite breakfast. Felt like lead for hours and I maybe ate 1/2 tsp of them. Try chopping the chicken very finely and I was warned from overcooking my protein as it gets very tough and hard to digest. Maybe next time cut the breast in thin strips that cook quickly and then chop finely. anne > Hi, > I had a bad evening last night. Guest guest
Hey Vicki, I am ten weeks out and I still have a hard time with chicken, especially breast meat. I have to eat thighs and I can only eat them with gravy (which only has 4 carbs and much less sugar and calories then bbq sauce). But you are still fresh out. When I started soft foods, I ate refriend beans, scrambled eggs with cheese, mashed potatoes with cheese mixed in for protein, stuff like that. It is hard, I know it. good luck!! tina open rny 7/6/04 319/259/159 > Hi, > I had a bad evening last night. I am just starting my soft food > stage. and decided to try some chicken.
