Guest guest
Actually, if we're looking at Spring/Summer, that's a great idea because of the beach and Boardwalk. I live 2 hours away. <BG> in NJ ************************* > Hey you left out Atlantic City! hehehehe. Just teasing. Guest guest
I should have read the next message! Summer works for me, too! in NJ ********************** > How were these potential dates selected? I live just outside Seattle, and I can tell you that it can be cool & rainy here all the way through June and it's almost always rainy through May. I recommend later in the summer, even right up til Labor Day, for that reason. It really is beautiful here in the summer, but it's important to make sure you're really here during the SUMMER! :-) > > Z > Open RNY 09/17/01 > http://www.ziobro.us >

Guest guest
When I lived in Seattle almost 13 years ago, We called the seasons WINTER and AUGUST!!! You are right , later summer and early Sept. would be better times. Diane LAP RNY 9/99 > How were these potential dates selected? Guest guest
Well, rather than start a whole new poll now, why not take the winner of this poll, when it's over, and have another with that date and a few more into the late summer/fall months? These polls aren't easy, you can't please all the people all the time, as we found out with the Vegas poll, but since those other dates were never offered.....? Just a suggestion. in NJ **************************** > When I lived in Seattle almost 13 years ago, We called the seasons > WINTER and AUGUST!!! Guest guest
Oh, and one other thing...if I'm flying across the country, I may just have to hit Vegas again for a couple of days. It seems to have taken hold of me! LOL in NJ
Guest guest
So far, July 30-Aug 2 is winning by a good margin. We could extend the poll, I looked it up on the on grads site and it can be changed to add more dates. In fact, I'll go ahead and add weekends in late August. So, you can go back in and change your vote if you would like to do that. (And, you are allowed to vote for more than one.) > > When I lived in Seattle almost 13 years ago, We called the seasons > > WINTER and AUGUST!!! Guest guest
>> How would having an RNY affect your bathroom habits? This is considering you already have permanent loose stools because of gallbladder surgery. Please respond only if you had an RNY after having your gallbladder out. The only thing wrong with this poll is that it doesn't allow for the fact that every single body is different. What happened to me won't happen to everyone. I had my gallbladder out in 1980, my RNY in 1999. I didn't have " permanently loose stools " as a result of my gallbladder removal. I tended to be a little more loose if I ate high fat foods or fresh veggies, but otherwise, I didn't see a lot of difference. Post op, if I overindulge in carbs, I will have loose stools some of the time, but they don't seem to help in the weight loss department in the slightest. And if I am on the high protein diet I am supposed to be on (only good carbs), I tend to get constipated, especially if I go over 3 shakes a day with 20 grams of carbs or less. So it's a matter of personal experience, I think. ~~ Lyn
Guest guest
And my experience says OVERWHELMINGLY that we will have problems with constipation. signed, ridiculously distal who should have hideous diarrhea and feels ripped off Thanks, Vitalady, Inc.
